Dear Friends and Neighbors,

With the 2020 legislative session less than two months away, lawmakers are back in Olympia this week for the second round of Committee Assembly days. Each of us are meeting in our respective committees to receive briefings and discuss some of the most pressing issues facing our state.

Having these committee meetings is just one way we're preparing for next year's short, 60-day session, which will begin on Jan. 13. Another way is by continuing to meet with constituents and getting their feedback on the issues they care most about. Hearing directly from you is important to me, as it is to Sen. Rivers and Rep. Vick. That's why we held nine town hall meetings earlier this year, and why we are going to hold three more on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Town hall times and locations are as follows:

I hope to see you at one of these town halls! In the meantime, I invite you to take my 2020 legislative priorities survey. It's an 8-question survey that should only take about five minutes to complete.

Thank you in advance for your responses. I'll be sharing the results in a future update.
