Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Following the adjournment of this year’s 60-day legislative session, I sent out a press release announcing that I would not be seeking reelection in November. It was not an easy decision for me to make, but it is the right one for me and my family at this particular time. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had this opportunity to serve you in the House and represent the community I have called home for more than 40 years. Since joining the Legislature, I have made it my mission to be a champion for taxpayers, small business owners, students, outdoorsmen, farmers and ranchers, and all of Southwest Washington. That work will continue until my final day in office in January 2023.
Due to election-year restrictions that take effect Monday, this will be my final email update until after the November general election results are certified. However, I will still be able to respond to constituents who contact me, so please feel free to email or call me anytime to share your perspective, ideas or concerns.
